I’m not adverse to sweet but prefer savory.
The same instructions that said no need to soak alsomsaid, avoid salt or sherry until everything is fully cooked, to avoid the peas getting a hard crust.

Yep, and I'm proud to say I heard no more than one sentence of this drivel. I used it as an opportunity to shut the radio OFF for awhile... did some reading and made a few phone calls.
I did check back from time to time, but waited til El Rushbo got the NFL nonsense out of his system. When I heard "Steelers" or "Ray Rice", etc. off went the radio again. It's the only way I can deal with it, after listening to weeks of this crap.
He's back on track as I type this! ;-)
Anyway, last week’s butternut squash and creamed spinach with chicken breast turned out really well. 5 days worth lasted 3 days.
