merican airstrikes against ISIS targets are under way in Syria, according to a Pentagon official.
"I can confirm that U.S. military and partner nation forces are undertaking military action against ISIL [ISIS] terrorists in Syria using a mix of fighter, bomber and Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles," Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby said.
"Given that these operations are ongoing, we are not in a position to provide additional details at this time. The decision to conduct theses strikes was made earlier today by the U.S. Central Command commander under authorization granted him by the commander in chief. We will provide more details later as operationally appropriate."

As an aside...wouldn’t it have been just a little fun to see ISIS rolling towards the Kingdom of Suad. I know we would have to jump in then, but it would have been a little fun to see those white gowns just a little brown.
The shy apparently is mfull of fireballs they’re saying...

WWII anti aircraft guns mounted on late model Toyota trucks.
Well then, what about North Korea? They are almost as crazy as ISIS, and they have nuclear weapons. And their gulag system is horrific. Should we next launch a preemptive strike against North Korea?
And what about Iran? They are closing in on nuclear weapons. Should we next launch a preemptive strike against Iran?
I'm not saying you're wrong! But where does it end?
(unconfirmed), Raqqa Governor’s House, Equestrian Club, National Hospital & Tal Abyad, Tabaqa Airport hit by US lead strikes

Keep in mind Obamaas has his big deal tomorrow with the arab nations at the UN....there’s a reason for the timing now.
Apparently King obozo don’t like horses
Hmmmm. Whatabout all that oil that Isis is trading? Can we target those fields?
As a matter of fact, the existence of ISIS is a trhreat to our security and it is in fact in our national interest to vanquish the threat.
I thought we were blowing up our own equipment? Hey, if we are in syria, is that where the airliners were? Think we’ll get them, too?
There would have been a coup by now if the military were worth a pile of beans.
We tend to be better educated and more well read than the average Joe. I had friends in Fallujah; whenever it was lost it caused a flurry of emails which started my awareness.
I honestly figured we would do something back then.
CNN suggesting the Muslim world is on board with America in these historic strikes!
It’s a whole new world...order...
I am not trying to be a dick, Gunny. But you state that it is a fact they are a threat.
What are those facts?
What American Interests are at stake here?
I’m interested in what Russia will have to say tomorrow morning about the US bombing one of its allies. He already warned this would be against international law...not that that would matter with how they’re all playing that card.
Hav to be careful what we post here...one of the things the military said was how difficult it is to get their work done with social media and media interfering and letting too much info out.
Our troops are on the ground there, though of course our troops aren’t on the ground. Ya know.
One unnamed “US official” and a reporter for the “Daily Beast.”
