As a matter of fact, the existence of ISIS is a trhreat to our security and it is in fact in our national interest to vanquish the threat.

What are those facts?
What American Interests are at stake here?
How so?
Are they going to come over here and cut our heads off?
They are a terror threat, no more.
UNLESS they capture enough oil to reduce production, or develop the capability to strangle the Strait of Hormuz.
The direct threat to America is significantly diminished with our fracking revolution.
It's mostly Europe, Japan and China that have a problem, but we have one obliquely in that we , as the largest empire, have a commercial interest in keeping healthy buyers healthy.
Anymore it's the buyers of DOLLARS that are important.
And that's China and Europe. And the Saudis. And Japan.
