Ahh, The P-38. I still have mine. issued to me in 1960 at Fort Campbell,KY
It worked on C-Rations back then, and still works fine today.
If I remember correctly, not every C-ration had a P-38 in them. When I got one, I hung on to it. When the Easterners got one, they didn't know what to do with them, so they'd give 'em to ussin's who knew how to use them. Still have several after all these years.
