I had forgotten to include WW as one of the worst Presidents for his long-lasting influence. A general rule of thumb is that the historians who put together Presidential rankings lists are biased towards favoring Presidents who expanded the role of government, and Wilson usually ranks around number 6 for them.
As a rule, the dumber ones are clueless and cannot name any former presidents other than Bush (don’t blame Obama), Clinton (Hillary’s husband), or Lincoln (freed the slaves and has a towncar named after him).
So who was Woodrow Wilson? They don’t know, want to know, and could care less. Soccer ball perhaps?
Ask them to name the former vice-presidents if you dare.
In fairness to the public school system of yesteryear. It tried to educate me on this matter, but I wasn’t listening too well. I can’t name every former president, their accomplishments, and the order in which they served.
