Thanks. In my opinion, this places you in the Support Harry Reid column because that’s the effect if your opinion were put into effect.
I don’t vote for Democrats, I vote for the more conservative candidate, and I always vote. Staying at home and pouting is not an option for me.
The GOP needs to earn my vote. They do not own me. They cannot expect my vote simply because they are not Democrats. That just isn’t good enough anymore.

Agree w/ you 1000%. Politics requires building coalitions to advance agendas. A Republican from the Northeast is better than a Democrat from the Northeast. There were a lot of moderate country club Republicans in Congress when Reagan was elected in 1980. Without them there would be no Scalia, or indexed tax tables etc.
To wait for ideological purity is to wait forever. I understand the conservative frustration w/ Boehner et al. Democrats are closest to ideological purity - it took them 70 years to get there. Unless the Repub party which has a good number of conservatives gets control of both houses, it will be that much longer (if ever) to have a chance to slow down or repair a sinking ship. I want to see Sheehan lose and if it takes Brown to do it with an R behind his name, so be it.
agreed.
