People are judged by their actions, individually or as a whole. We just react and coment on what we see most often. If you want o remove the “stigma” remie the behavior that created the “stigma” in the first place.

The headline is misleading as the article indicates it is the BEHAVIORS that he wants to end. That will be hard to do since blacks have adopted these deviant behaviors as “their culture” and are offended when anyone suggests it they are a problem. Obama had a unique opportunity to advocate to change these self destructive behaviors. Unfortunately he went the other way and encourages them.

My initial thought too. They have removed the stigma from most of society's ills; why not de-stigmatize rioting and looting...
