You cannot strike down a Constitutional amendment as unconstitutional.

We have seen MANY ways in which the Oligarchy has been successful in making the Constitution irrelevant and of no effect upon imposing its agenda.

Do not underestimate what tyrants with an agenda are able and willing to do to ensure their power is not threatened or restrained.

If one openly flouts it, such as a term limit or state appointment of new Senators, then we all must admit to a total dissolution of the entire government structure.

Only a few will admit it. As long as there is beer, cable, EBT cards and porn - the majority can care less what our government becomes as long as they get a subsidy.

At that point, it all stays or it all goes, including honoring the decisions of the courts and the compelling of the payments of taxes.

That is the line that the elites must be made to know not to cross.

Now you are getting somewhere. However, where you and I differ is that I believe we are already at that point given what we learned of the IRS scandal alone. I suggest the federal government has rendered itself as no longer having any legitimate authority over us.

They no longer have any moral authority to govern us, all they have is the power of a gun to our heads to rule us, and that my FRiend is where I think we have arrived.

We have seen MANY ways in which the Oligarchy has been successful in making the Constitution irrelevant and of no effect upon imposing its agenda.

Those have been limited to the balance of power between the branches, such as with recess appointments, passing budgets vs. continuing resolutions, executive regulations vs. legislation, etc.

I'm talking about authorizing power amendments, such as term limits or repealing the 17th amendment. One cannot easily ignore those Article V outcomes without threatening the entire Constitutional construct.
