Another NFL sponsor is distancing itself from the league amid an ongoing domestic violence controversy.
Procter & Gamble, one of the NFL's major sponsors, pulled out of the league's breast cancer awareness campaign Friday.
The company's Crest toothpaste had been slated to sponsor the program. Procter & Gamble said it will still make the $100,000 donation to the American Cancer Society as planned.

Has the NFL yet learned appeasement never works?
Nope. They forget the prime operating principles of the media: There must be conflict of some kind. If it does not exist, create it. If it does exist, perpetuate it. If it is dying out, exacerbate it..
That is a crocodile that will never have enough meat. And pandering to it, as the NFL has done, is only going cause more meat to be eaten.
