oger Goodell will make his first public statements in more than a week about the rash of NFL players involved in domestic violence when he holds a news conference Friday. The NFL commissioner will address the league's personal conduct policy. The league has faced increasing criticism it has not acted quickly or emphatically enough concerning the domestic abuse cases. .................................................... Goodell sent a memo to the clubs late Thursday announcing the partnerships. The league will provide financial, operational and promotional support to the National Domestic Violence Hotline and the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.

The NFL is now part of the therapeutic nanny state.
It won't be long now ....
Follow the money!!!!
Its all about getting paid and now a lot of NFL feminazi advisers/consultants and abuse hotlines (manned by lesbians) are going to be gettin paid!!!
Yes there are legitimate abuse hotlines but I would love see who actually answers the phones. They are 99% Obama voters
Great... The liberals will use this a an outlet to bitch about the “Redskins” name.
How soon until prank calls to them hit YouTube?
Male football fans with minimal brain activity are going to be drained to pay the salaries for these new feminazi apparatchiks the NFL put on the payroll
>>>>> It all about gettin paid!!
Eventually we knew they were going to throw money at the problem, because the NFL has lots of it, and it works.
FOOTBALL SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY - REPLACED WITH KNITTING TOURNAMENTS WHERE EVERYBODY GETS A PRIZE
It’s worse. Wait for this...Season’s end approaches and playoffs next week. Critical player on playoff bound team is “ACCUSED” of domestic violence. Media erupts in hysterical rage and demands benching (or execution) of “Vicious MAN” and he is scrubbed from playoff game. Team loses and is out of contention for Super Bowl.
THis sound stupid, I know, but we are rapidly approaching the time when the lynch mob will rule.
What if my example concerned the starting pitcher for a World Series team? Don’t laugh...could happen these days.
By my count there are four NFL players who are in trouble for abusing women and children. There are about 1,800 players in the NFL. The percentage of wife beaters (Jim Moran D-VA) in congress is about the same percentage as in the NFL.
Is there anything these players are wives have in common?
They are all Amish?
Oh, makes me understand the situation now, has the media said anything about it being Amish?
Too bad there’s no penalty for shameless pandering.
From what I have seen the NFL has lower arrest rates than comparable male populations.
Ambivalent regarding Goodell’s qualifications in his job, but it would be nice for once to hear the Media be as aggressive in their questioning of Administration officials as they’ve been during the Q&A following his statement today.
The owners should just fire that guy. Goodell is now simply pandering at the expense of all league personnel.
More stupidity.
