The European countries have set themselves up for takeover. They spend no money on military while they have free this and free that. They think the USA will bail them out. But a weak USA with weak leadership should scare them to death.
Oh the big mouthed French will protect Europe. God knows they always know more than the U. S. when it comes to issues like this.

Europe spends plenty on defense (about $200bn annually AFAIK), they just spend it BADLY.
