Stella was never American and was not bought by InBev, it was part of Interbrew of Belgium long before the merger. I was responding to this:

None of the outfits Inbev has bought so far are actual beer makers so you need not worry. :P

I never claimed it was American... the point was that Stella is beer and is under the InBev banner, one way or another.
