No they certainly would not! Plaid Cymru have no where near the strength of the Scottish Nationalists. There are swathes of Wales (Monmouthshire, Pembrokeshire etc) which still vote Conservative.

Wales (the valleys especially) is a stronghold for the Labour Party, not the noisy nationalists.

European Conservative is different from American Conservative. Just like the Founding Fathers were called “liberals,” small ‘l’, while today’s Liberals are on the complete opposite side of the political spectrum from 1776.

I tried very hard to enjoy my Welsh ancestry. Learning
the language is an ongoing process. I finally deleted all
participation in online Welsh groups as the nasty socialists
perpetually injected language too foul to be on my
Facebook news feed or timeline. It’s my ancestry not my
heritage. I’ve traveled to Wales many times. Not real
interested in doing that again.
