Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson testified here for almost four hours Tuesday in front of the St. Louis County grand jury investigating his Aug. 9 shooting of Michael Brown, a source with knowledge of the investigation said Wednesday.
Wilson was not obligated to appear, and also has spoken with St. Louis County investigators twice and federal investigators once, the source said. The source said Wilson was cooperative.
A spokesman for Prosecuting Attorney Robert P. McCullochs office, Ed Magee, refused to comment Wednesday on who has testified.
The shooting of Brown, 18, who was black and unarmed, by Wilson, who is white, gave rise to racially charged protests and looting. Some activists have threatened more of the same if the grand jury does not indict Wilson.
Police have said that Brown struggled with Wilson before being shot. Browns family and some witnesses have said Brown was surrendering when he died....

And the “jury” didn’t lynch him? That’s a surprise.
I am wondering how they will play this up before the elections.
Voluntarily appearing?
Sounds like a man confident of his version of events
Brown didn’t have any arms?
If he’s smart the only thing he’s saying is nothing.
Then , he gets to defend himself from us "JUST-US " Dept. 'civil rights' investigation.
but we already know where that will go ... !
You know *how* they will play it. You are wondering how far they will go in playing this up (not hard to guess), and how effective the race warfare will be this time around. Well, it will solidify 97% of the black vote to the DemocRats. Beyond that is anyone's guess.
My circle of liberal acquaintances is rather sparse, I quit screwing with them some years ago, but none of the white libs I know will ever turn on Obozo. America can burn in Hell before any of them will profess to picking a half white man with dark skin for President based on his skin color and no clue on his qualifications.
Don’t Talk to Police

What???? He was black and unarmed?? And shot by a white policeman?
Why hasn't this been mentioned before?
“whether or not there was “probable cause”
for the police officer to use “deadly physical force”
to defend himself from immenent deadly physical force”
Nope there is more to it than that. If, as reported, Michael Brown struggled to control Officer Wilsons weapon or even touched his sidearm then this applies.
Per Judge White SCOTUS majority decision:
Thus, if the suspect threatens the officer with a weapon or there is probable cause to believe that he has committed a crime involving the infliction or threatened infliction of serious physical harm, deadly force may be used if necessary to prevent escape, and if, where feasible, some warning has been given. As applied in such circumstances, the Tennessee statute would pass constitutional muster.
How anyone can still defend this idiot is beyond me.
I'd like an answer to that, too. Also, why hasn't the white cop been executed by now? He's obviously guilty...Al, Jesse and Eric all said so on TV.
What are you talking about?
Familyop’s post to me. I watched the video he posted.
Sorry. I replied in the wrong thread.
True that ! ,
However, after the first autopsy examinations, all residuals would have been removed for toxicology examination, and wouldnt be avialable for subsequent investigations.
If Micheal Brown fought with me for possession of my handgun and resulted in discharge of the handgun in my car, after already having aready been assualted by the 'perp'
I would already be Pi$$ed enough that I would shoot the perp without thought of legal ramifications.
Michael Brown’s shooting gave rise to racially-charged protests & LOOTING?? They blamed looting on something other than greed & lawlessness?
Should the grand jury refuse to indict, the case is over. Given the atmosphere in Ferguson however, that seems unlikely.
