The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...

I suppose there might be a valid military mission in Africa involving dead and dying Ebola patients and flamethrowers, but don't expect authorization of that kind of action by any government until it is already far too late.
Otherwise, the stated mission sounds like a job for the Peace Corps - featuring the sons and daughters of prominent Democrat politicians.

The first case was in February with it becoming an outbreak in March as initial containment failed. It’s been uncontrolled and increasing exponentially for only the last two months though.
Of all AIDS/HIV cases in the USA, 64% are among a group/category that comprise 2% to 4% of the population - men-who-have-had-sex-with-men, or MSM...and it is not in decline, rather it is increasing in prevalence among the MSM. Not something we should be encouraging and promoting as a good in society.
Hence, the discussion on the cause of transmission is essentially shut down. Can’t have anything that reflects negatively on the freakish unnatural disordered acts of the lifestyle they refer to as “gay.”

Yet in our own country we have a communicable disease that kills 15000 a year...here.

Cases are doubling every 3 weeks so by Oct. 10, there should be 10,000 cases. BTW, this works out to over 1500 cases per week but the next cycle from Oct. 10 to beginning of November would be over 3000 cases per week to 20,000 total cases.
Good idea. Mr. GG2 just made a colloidal silver generator and we have a boatload of it. Stronger than the stuff online. We used to buy Super Silver now we just make it. Also Elderberry tincture which we have 4 mason jars full and ready to start taking.

I just don’t trust myself, and it’s why I rather just by the over the counter Silver.
It’s certainly always good to have a bottle or two of Silver in your medicine cabinet.
This study was done in glass cultures not in live mammals. I don't know if it has ever been tested on living mammals. The study's conclusion was that colloidal silver neutralizes the Ebola virus.
I am not a doctor nor do I play one. I could be misreading this report. The question I have is why isn't the study more widely known and discussed.

Silver has been used as an antimicrobial agent for thousands of years – the Romans used to use silverware to reduce food and drink-borne infection. More recently, nanoparticles of silver have been used in everything from food containers to socks in an attempt to imbue them with microbe-killing properties.
When used in the right way, the material certainly does exhibit antimicrobial properties. But there’s a massive jump from odor-resistant socks to curing Ebola patients.
