Unless, of course, it is the United States. We are not allowed to celebrate our own culture.
The choice is that of the Scots. Hope it goes well, however they vote.

If they want independence, that is their right. And the UK seems increasingly like a historical anachronism.

No one has made an argument on behalf of a country called UK. That is something to consider for this week’s looming referendum.

THAT is exactly what I thought when I read that.
United States’ can’t have its’ culture lest we offend some foreigner.

I also thought Sean really reached out there saying people all over the world know Scottish culture
well except for kilts whiskey and scones. St Andrews for some
