“But if you leave the UK that will be forever.””
Nothing like a liberal drama queen.
Scotland was independent before, so what of anyone that may have said then, “Well, once you join the UK, it is forever!”?
"The next time he comes to Scotland it will not be to love-bomb or engage in desperate last-minute scaremongering," Salmond said in a statement. "It will be to engage in serious post-referendum talks."
I don’t know about a painful split, but K do know it will likely be a painful future.
Even in death throes, the liberal elite are still smug and condescending.

... Hinting at the high stakes, the Prime Ministers speech was a tightly scripted appearance, with the location kept secret until shortly before he began addressing his invitation-only audience.
Does this Cameron wants to go down the Lincoln route? A Second English Civil War?
"It is my Noble right!"
It’s not just any divorce....
It would be a divorce, but then still live together.
‘Yes’ voters want a half divorce.
There are several good articles in the British press about what a complete, total, incompetent idiot David Cameron has been when it comes to this vote. He did nothing, missed all the warning signs that Scotland was going to vote yes, and then when it was obvious and perhaps too late, he went into a hysterical panic about what to do. Given how big this issue is, it really shows how incompetent he is. But if its any cold comfort to the Tories, Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband have been almost as bad.
I hope that Scotland ignores him.
Would love to break out “Braveheart” and celebrate, but from what I’ve read modern day Scotland is even further left than England.
So why should I care?
Just tell them they can forget about Celtic and Rangers ever joining the English Premier League.
Scotland didn’t join England voluntarily. The best that can be said for David Cameron is that he’s less repulsive than his Labor Party counterparts. That’s rather faint praise.
Well the Cameron Clan motto is “Unite” not “Untie”
Well, what a way to win friends: vanity with a delusion of inherent superiority. There’s nothing new.
wow they are scared.
Dear David,
no one likes someone who is too clingy
