“... it’s worth noting that the result is still just within the margin or error. “
Is this a Stat 101 test?

Every democrat seems to be under 50%.

**************

Can’t the same be said for many of the GOP candidates? The best polling
indicators usually are those within the last 10 days or so of vote day. jmo.

Why does it seem that the Republicans just cannot close the deal?

Every liberal group in the US has been in our neighborhood trying to get out the vote for Hagan. And the television stations are full of attack ads against Tillis.

NC will repent for voting Romney in 2012, narrow though it was. Without Jesse Helms to set the tone, the state is a lost cause.

Is Tillis even running? All I see are Hagan ads and promotions. She is getting her face on Facebook and newspapers all the time. I don’t see much at all about the Republican side. Those who know, know Hagan in an Obama clone but no one is saying so. The right is quiet.

I think we may have to face the possibility that most Americans today really prefer what Team Obama/Team Reid/Team Pelosi have to offer. In other words, it may not be just hyperbole to say that the USA is broken beyond repair.

I see lots of HAGAN signs but almost no TILLIS signs. Hagan is a complete jerk but Tillis fails to excite anybody except Karl Rove & Co.

Tillis is running a miserable campaign from what I can tell. He can't even excite himself. Plus the Liberals were smart in getting a 3rd Party candidate on the ballot (a Liberaltarian) who is siphoning away votes a conservative Republican would normally get.

Kagan should be 10 points down. Instead, she is winning despite her being a terrible candidate and an even worse Senator.

I hate to say it, but I think NC is screwed again.

I'm sure the pure of heart GOPers can and will go into great detail the many ways Tillis isn't Hagan and vice versa.

However, from the distance I prefer to maintain as a voter, they smell too much alike to me and I'm tired of their big GuvCo socialism and surveillance.

And that's the trouble with voting for the GOP's plans election after election. I don't want to just slow things down and do big GuvCo better than the demonrats.

I want to turn around and go in the opposite direction entirely!

I could buy the fact that Hagan is doing a little better.

She's been running pretty hard-hitting and effective campaign commercials, continually.

Tillis, on the other hand, is inexplicably taking a low-key approach.

This race was the Republican's to lose, and they're doing an excellent job of it.

It’s because Mr. Tillis is running a cocoa puff campaign whe Mrs. Hagan is running aggressive. He hasn’t even answered her dishonest education ads.

One has to wonder what the hell is wrong with Tillis.

If you can't beat a Democrat in a Southern state, you ain't worth spit and should not be carrying the GOP banner.

Republicans and Tillis should keep the campaign focus on Hagan's absolute commitment to forcing Obamacare on citizens, including the lies which were used to promote it and to pass it in the middle of the night with only Democrats supporting it!!

She was a force in selling the idea, and she was a strong force in backing up the President's outright falsehoods in the "If you want to keep your doctor, . . . .," and all the other lies since. As a matter of fact there are videos showing her mouthing these misleading and outright falsehoods to voters.

Every family of a cancer patient who was forced to struggle with looking for a new insurance policy because of those lies should publicize the real-life consequences of Hagan's complicity in voting for and supporting the so-called "Affordable" Care Act. The whole thing was a dishonest Trojan Horse scheme to take over a significant part of the economy. It had nothing to do with "helping" people, "affordable" care, or improving the lives of citizens. It was a government power grab, and Hagan supported it all the way!.

The teacher/education carp seems to reliably bring the Dem. vote over the line. Several ads are accusing Tillis of cutting teacher aids, the education budget and text books. What happened to the “education” lottery money???

Tillis, Rick Scott and Chris Christie are leaders in pandering to illegal aliens.

Lt. Gov. Forest or even Congressman McHenry would have been better candidates if they want to run an establishment candidate against Hagan.
