Director Hayden says: IS
RINO Graham says: ISIL
HINT: Americans can use this to determine which side
someone is on. The side of America or IS.
Excellant observation..I have been noticing this too.
Linda indignant, throwing a hissy fit; saying nobody has been listening to her and Senator McPain for the last three years.
Much has been made of the difference between ISIS and ISIL.
At some point Israel was brought into the fray by being declared part of the Levant.
Personally, I prefer an Israelless ISIL simply because it seems geographically and historically correct. Most importantly ISIL drops the connotation to Syria and Iraq. The new nation state being formed is neither Syria nor Iraq but land along the rivers that is historically neither. It is the fertile crescent of old.
In theory long ago both Israel and Lebanon were considered part of the whole but perhaps not now. I don’t see either being absorbed into the new state.
What I do see is that neither Syria nor Iraq will return to the status quo ante. The Sunni and Kurdish lands are severed from the former countries of which they were forcefully made a part decades ago. Further, I do not foresee a long term situation where the radical wackos rule the newly emerging state.
For some of us who have not followed ISIS VS ISIL closely would you explain the difference? THANKS!
