Practically speaking, yes it does. Third parties/indies aren't winning jack shite. What's bad for one major party is good for the other one by default, that's way it's always been and the way it always will be.

I would say there are 2 trends right now, anti-Obama (democrat) and anti-incumbent, the latter could hurt us in places like Kansas where the GOP reigns and mitigate overall rat losses, hopefully not.
