Jerald Rice typed his wife's name into an Internet search engine. A series of unsettling stunts had perplexed him.
Advertisements for sex with his wife popped up. "Adult entertainment of all types when my husband is not home," the ads said. "Not for the faint of heart. Come see me during the day while my husband is at work and we can get our freak on."
Some ads contained the couple's address and a photograph of the home they shared with their two children. Some had his wife's photograph, he said.
Alarmed, he called his wife at work and then spoke to an FBI agent. He installed security equipment and pleaded with the online sites to remove the ads.

‘Rowe said in court records that she never intended her actions to be “scary.” ‘
Insane, at least one of these sounds like conspiracy to commit rape. She told a man to come to the house, ignore any protest and rape her anally.
Like something out of a horror movie, isn’t it? Some real wackos out there.
Which gives her carte blanche to *endanger* someone elses life?
Something tells me her husband and daughter haven't been getting a whole lot of loving care anyway from this psycho.
George Zimmernan and Darren Wilson should ask the MSM the same thing?
Of course it does. Health care is a right now, therefore it follows that you have the new associated right to do anything it takes to continue health care.
Disgusting.
George Zimmernan and Darren Wilson should ask the MSM the same thing...
I wouldn’t buy the insanity defense. Send her to prison.
What does that even mean? They understood the sex was to be consensual without the actual woman's consent? This is her defense???
Somebody needs to have the ever-lovin’ stuffin’ sued out of them. Sounds like she’s got the assets for it.
& if I were the wife in this situation, this gal would be shopping for a wig.
I’m just trying to figure out how the couple which had to suffer through all these actions by this lady decided to settle out of court for a confidential financial settlement. Why would you even consider dealing with such a creature?
There’s a few crazy people in this story, and I don’t think it is the calculating female dog...
Dang!
Let's say the resident woman answered the door, protested, felt threatened and shot the man at the door. A whole lot of lives put in jeopardy, and Rowe didn't think it was anything more than a scare? Lock the evil woman Rowe up for a long time and keep her away from society.
Umm. The rape fantasy is quite common. Somewhat less common but not at all unusual is role-playing arranged in advance to ignore all protests, usually unless a specific safeword is used.
Such things DO happen. There was a recent case where a woman arranged it all in advance over the web, and then claimed she had in fact been raped to get sympathy.
A pretty bad thing to arrange for another woman without her knowledge, and a pretty dirty trick to pull on the man in question, too. Though I have a good deal less sympathy for him.
Really? Her behavior is simple sociopathy. I mean, of course, the revised definition. Simple psychopathy.
Every sick, demonic fantasy is becoming commonplace in our fallen world... that’s not what I was driving at.
The men saying that they understood the sex to be consensual is being presented as a point in favor of the defendant. That’s lunacy. It would obviously be material to the defense of the men. Concerning the woman who solicited them, the intent of the men she was lying to is irrelevant.
The horror is that because of the settlement, the criminal could resume actions after a short while to try to get the house - with the “it wasn’t me, I was already punished”.
And the reports list what she did that was tracked to her. Now she knows what she might have done that wasn’t linked to her and can ramp it up.
I know someone who lost his job at a major corporation because he filled out those subscription cards that fall out of trade magazines in the names of his co-workers. And he had a criminal record too. I don’t know if he ever served time, but his offense was just for loading up someone’s mail with electronics catalogs.
I hope they throw the book at Ms. Rowe. Her actions were despicable, and her excuses don’t hold water.
There are thousands of houses in that area of SoCal up for sale at any given time with swimming pools and private gardens.
Okay, I agree with that.
