As the multimillionaire Pelosi surely knows, individuals and corporations (which are artificial people under the law) can change their addresses and thereby change their tax burdens. It happens every day. I know that from personal experience. I moved from high-tax Maryland to low-tax Texas a few years back and gave myself a very nice raise and bought a bigger house than I’d had up north even though my salary at the time didn’t change much. Dollars go farther in Texas than they do in California, in part because Texas doesn’t tax its citizens violently and with prejudice. That’s why so many of Pelosi’s fellow Californians and their companies are fleeing her state for Texas. It happens every day.
So, brutal stupidity. Or she’s just lying to her low-information voter base. Or she’s drunk or has lost her mind and is raving crazy loony tunes nuts. You make the call.

The Daily Caller has a video clip of Pelosi saying this to Bill Maher.
“It would be very important for the Democrats to retain control of the Senate,” Pelosi told Maher. “Civilization as we know it today would be in jeopardy if the Republicans win the Senate.”
Pelosi says this at a time when the Islamic State really does threaten civilization, Putin really does threaten Europe, and let’s not forget Iran and its nuclear ambitions. And the president she supports isn’t doing anything effective against any of it.
Those things really do threaten civilization. Republicans taking the Senate…nah. It’s happened before, and the republic still stands.

A video posted on his onetime firm's web-site shows Stanford, being hugged by then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi....... and praised by former President Bill Clinton .......for helping to finance a Democrat convention-related forum and party put on by the National Democratic Institute.
BILL CLINTON: "I would like to thank the Stanford Financial Group for helping to underwrite this," Clinton said to the crowd at the event. Stanford Financial was listed as the "lead benefactor" for the gathering, and Stanford was permitted to address the audience of several hundred.
The SEC charged that Stanford was running a fraudulent offshore investment scheme that may have bilked customers out of as much as $8 billion. Over the last decade, Stanford has spent more than $7 million on lobbyists and campaign contributions to Washington politics in both parties, although the vast majority of the money has gone to Democrats.

(Reuters) – A fund of offshore hedge funds run by two members of VP Joe Biden's family was marketed exclusively by offshore firms controlled by Texas financier Allen Stanford, charged by regulators with an $8 billion fraud, the Wall Street Journal said.
The Bidens $50 million fund was jointly branded between the Bidens' Paradigm Global Advisors LLC and the offshore Stanford Financial Group entity headquartered in Antigua, and was known as the Paradigm Stanford Capital Management Core Alternative Fund, the paper said. Stanford-related offshore companies marketed the Biden fund to investors and also invested about $2.7 million of their own money in the fund, the paper said, citing a lawyer for Paradigm.
Paradigm Global Advisors is owned through a holding company by the vice president Biden's son, Hunter, and Joe Biden's brother, James, according to the WSJ. Paradigm's attorney, Marc LoPresti, who represents Hunter Biden and James Biden, as well as Paradigm, told the paper he did not know which Stanford entity invested the roughly $2.7 million. I got buttonholed by a teller who suggested I open a new acc’t with the bank (I do a little biz there now) and I told her, given the $150 incentive, I’d open it at a branch outside GR. Why? Why... city income taxes. There aren’t any taxes on it. Huh? Glad they’ll be handling my money.

All Marxism is insane/irrational. They believe in utopia (myth), Darwinism (Myth) and “progress” always which history proves is WRONG-—and that humans can be perfected and there is no God-—so, they believe in Dialectical Materialism, which doesn’t even make sense, since it is not provable through Science or history or Natural Law Theory which is the basis of Reason and Logic and Modern Science.
There is no Reason possible when you eject Natural Law Theory which posits a Lawgiver/Designer. Everything else doesn’t make sense and it removes Logic. There is a reason that Christianity (only) created the Age of Reason and the Enlightenment. All other ideologies don’t aim for Truth/God like the Christian Religion which adopted Natural Law Theory w/Catholic Canon.
There can be no Natural Laws or Science with out a Designer/Lawgiver and Natural Laws. All Science proves Cause and Effect.
That is why non-Classical Liberals seem to be mentally ill people-—Facts and Truth and true History never ever matter to them——it is all emotions which determine EVERYTHING (no Truth/Reason)-—Nike Ethics ONLY-—what “feels” good, is “good” and all Reason and Logic is removed.
Wisdom is being able to discern Good and Evil (Cicero)-—There is absolutely an inability to discern anything with Marxists.....They killed off the Lawgiver—the Standard of Good and Evil so there is no Objective Truth.
AND our public schools are destroying the ability of children to discern Good and Evil in all public school curricula now-—even mathematics, since New Math. Nothing in American politics is more painful than losing power. She was the Speaker of the House - one of the most powerful offices in the world. She and her family flew everywhere on Air Force jets. While some perks remain, she is nobody compared to what she was. And she knows she is not getting it back. It’s driving her nuts. And she will only get worse.

She needs to be placed into a special needs nursing home. Dementia is a terrible thing, remember, this move is for her best interests.
My wife and I just this year reduced our tax burden by several thousand dollars by moving about ten miles away from our former abode. If we had changed counties or moved out of State we’d be saving even more. Ms. Pelosi is a well documented imbecile.
Agreed...She wallowed in her power when she became Speaker unlike most others I have seen and losing it was a catastrophic blow to her.

Back a few years ago, some study said people were more and more insane. I believe that. The left has created a society of people who deny reality and the truth for an ideology that is totally insane. That is why when they run things, we all end up with an horrendous mess.
