I think you misread — these are the moderates opposed to ISIS.
Realizing that most people here don’t believe there are moderates, this is a good example of why they don’t speak out or fight back against the radicals. They want to keep their heads!

Perhaps you missed that these guys were OPPOSED to ISIS. The bad guys seem better at keeping their secret locations a secret, or keeping their people loyal.
