[history]
Football players at Arkansas State University were ordered to either remove a Christian cross decal from their helmets or modify it into a mathematical sign after a Jonesboro attorney complained that the image violated the U.S. Constitution.
The cross decal was meant to memorialize former player Markel Owens and former equipment manager Barry Weyer, said athletic director Terry Mohajir. Weyer was killed in a June car crash. Owens was gunned down in Tennessee in January.

“I guess I was just thinking that it doesnt take any guts, really, to pick on Christians. Bad people who want attention bank on the fact that Christians will turn the other cheek.”
That is true, too.

I assume you mean the New Orleans Saints? The symbol is the fleur de lys. Which is associated with: 1. The French monarchy. 2. Areas of the world that were once under French monarchic rule, such as Louisiana. 3. Boy scouting. 4. It also a military insignia.5. It is spelled Fleur de Lis which means flower of life. And, yes, the N.O.Saints use it because it represents New Orleans.
It has absolutely nothing to do with religion

*modify it into a mathematical sign*
Would they prefer a swastika? Perhaps a hammer and sickle? They certainly are acting like godless Socialists.
Will they demand that God modifies the cross into a mathematical sign on the Day of Judgment?
To: W.Lee
They must have a stroke when the team plays TCU
Why? Do they hate horned toads too?

My suggestion:
Every car that comes to the game have a cross painted on their back windows!
To: Kaslin
If the Cross is not allowed at Arkansas State University, then in all fairness, evolution should no longer be taught there.
The religion of Atheism should also be stifled.
...that is if they still want to pretend that they are being “fair”
To: Kaslin
How were they “forced”? Gunpoint?
To: Kaslin
Atheists should be forced to put the fish logo on the back of their vehicles.
I'm so done with these heathen punks.
My m-i-l is one and her comments on the faithful are just nasty, bigoted and mean spirited and she will get in your face about it.
And, I can be pretty intolerant of her opinions. She ruined my wedding and the eulogy of one of her brothers because she is not a believer and constantly challenges anyone who professes their faith.
Its hard to deal with her - when religion (or her liberal politics) come up, I suddenly have to take a take a walk and pray. Even pray for her...pray that this was not so.
