A group of Middle Eastern Christians booed Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, off the stage after speaking in support of Israel at an event in Washington, D.C.
The event, sponsored by the group In Defense of Christians, was billed as a gathering of Middle Eastern Christian leaders.
They were trying to raise awareness about the threat to Arab minorities by the Islamic terrorists.
Cruz spoke about Christian solidarity with Israel and standing against terrorist groups like ISIS.
But some in the crowd were Palestinian Christian supporters of the Syrian government and even the terrorist group Hezbollah.
"Those who hate Israel hate America," Cruz began before being interrupted by jeering from the audience.

"My heart weeps that the men and women here will not stand in solidarity with Jews and Christians alike who are persecuted by radicals," he responded.
At one point, the moderator interrupted, saying, "Please, respect for dialogue. Respect. Please, we're in America."
Undeterred, Cruz said "If you will not stand with Israel and the Jews, then I will not stand with you. Thank you and God bless you."
Not that you will understand it but you should read in the book of Romans Chapter 9.

Israel happens to be the closest ally to the United States in the WORLD but you have no problems with China stealing our technology or Iran building ICBM that can hit the US etc.
You have no problems with Israel sharing the best intelligence on the planet with us but you do have a problem with them asking for something in return?

A Jew from a country other than Israel has to accept Israeli citizenship in order to have it. One doesn’t automatically acquire it by being born a Jew. At any rate, a Jewish American with dual citizenship who joins the US armed forces is serving America by his own decision, not the state of Israel’s. I credit him for his service, not the state of Israel. I’ll stop criticizing Israel when it stops being a Jewish supremacist state whose Christians citizens have inferior status and an Orthodox supremacist state where Reform and Conservative Judaism have inferior status to Orthodoxy (for example, the Israeli state only recognizes conversions to Judaism performed by Orthodox rabbis).
Disagree. I belong to the deterrence school. Deterrence worked with the USSR; it works between India and Pakistan; it’ll work with Iran if they go nuclear. They’re nasty, but they don’t want to get nuked in retaliation.
Deterrence isn’t a concern for a culture that encourages suicide bombers. And do you honestly think that Obama will nuke Iran if Iran nukes Israel?

The nutcases and dead-enders who become kamikazes wouldn’t get control of Iran’s nukes. The ayatollahs would, and SOBs though they are, they don’t harbor a desire to turn their country into a massive suicide bomber. Obviously though we can’t let undeterrable non-state actors like al Qaeda acquire nukes though.
I realize it’s an unorthodox view, but I’m sanguine about even bad states going nuclear, since deterrence has a 100% track record in preventing the use of nuclear weapons — even super crazy North Korea’s nukes!
As for your question whether I think Obama would nuke Iran if it nuked Israel, yes, I do. Though he wouldn’t do it out of conviction, he’d do it out of political necessity.
Here's hoping that we never find out, but there's no way Obama would nuke Iran if they nuked Israel. It simply wouldn't happen, and there would be no media outcry to do it. In fact, he'd give them the word and there'd be a media outcry NOT to do it.
I'd bet money on this one, I'm that certain of it.

When did I ever say that Christians are inferior to Jews? I quoted God's written word. You claim to be a "Christian" yet you do not know, nor accept God's written word? And why is it people like you have problems with God's order? Is not a "First born" child always the "First born?" Were not the Jews God's people "First people?"
Really... The Jews did NOT kill your messiah. YOUR SINS did. Praise be to God, Jesus Christ overcame the overwhelming, life ending, burden of taking on YOUR SINS and putting them in Hell so that YOU might live and rose again to resurrect us all back to God in paradise.
I find it interesting how liberals always think they are "entitled" to what rightfully belongs to someone else. The Jews were/are (in a sense) God's first born. Christians were later adopted. God's love for the Jews has never waned. Only their love for Him has. The eternal promises God made to the Jews have not ended. This is the TRUTH.
