Did he even talk to the coalition before making his speech. So far the UK, Germany and turkey have said no to parts or central parts of his plan to deal with the JV. Did he even talk to them or did he show up and read the TelePrompTer to find out his plan.

That’s at least twice Turkey has done that to us. Maybe this regime should treat them as if they were military veterans. Or, at the very least, like they were cops from Ferguson, Mo.

He saw the abysmal polls and thought he’d better say something, even if he said ISIL is not Islamic. They, the Bowbama regime, apparently is sending our JV’s out to do speeches.
To: Bushbacker1
Turkey is at least a very UNreliable ally who can be counted on to turn us down every time.

Turkey needs to be immediately thrown out of NATO and
sanctions levied , as it is a major state sponsor of terrorism

They turned down W in the run up to the Iraqi War in 2003, so sure they would. Turkey is now an Islamic State and will not honor any NATO commitment if the opposing party bows to Mecca.

Enh. They did the same to Dubya, I recall.
Yup. But folks in here don’t want to hear that.

I still believe ISIS is a Turk/Saudi/State project. They may have slipped their moorings and now require managing. Which evidently Turkey is unwilling to be part of. I fully agree. And ISIS always comes swarming out of Turkey - they cross that northern border into Syria and now into Iraq. The role of Turkey in this is completely blatant.

We had a poster with slightly different version of the same:
We the unwilling
Led by the unqualified
Have been doing the unbelievable
For the unknowing
For so long
With so little
That the ungrateful now want us
To do the impossible
With nothing.

According to some, President Reagan provided the following explanation when asked why it had happened: Well, the boys were tired...I miss the good old days, when we respected our leaders, and didn't have to suffer with amateur night daily running our foreign policy.
