I only wish that was the widespread truth..
It seems that Christians had it better under some of the dictators we’ve helped to overthrow. I listened to a Christian Dr. and Bishop on the radio pleading for America not to help overthrow Assad because under him at least they could live in peace. They said not everyone in the world are suited to live in a democracy.
Unfortunately Obama wants to take the 3rd way and arm the “moderate” terrorists who are fighting Assad who is the only thing protecting the Christians.
We don’t have to love Assad to recognize him as the best possible bad result. The “moderates” can’t beat Assad and they can’t beat ISIS, all the moderates can do is help ISIS beat Assad at which point the “moderates” will be exterminated by ISIS or converted to ISIS and ISIS will control Syria and Lebanon soon after.
No, actually the translation is “there are multiple Muslim factions. If you stop ISIS, another one will rise. They (Muslims) are like cockroaches, and they’re all nuts”. Thats how I read it.
