ROCHESTER, Mich. (WJBK) - Lieutenant colonel Sherwood Baker was just a father trying to help his daughter find her way at her new high school.
Sherwood who has served in the Army for 24 years was told by Rochester Adams high school security that if he wanted to get into the high school with his daughter he was going to have to go home and change his clothes.
Baker's wife Rachel Ferhadson says, "before he was allowed in, the security guard stopped him and said sorry you're not allowed in the school. Security told him men and women in uniform weren't allowed because it may offend another student."

I hope they embarrass the hell out of the school for allowing this to happen.
If that uniform offends you, you need a one way ticket to a different country.
Sons of bitches. Whoever is responsible is not worth a damn and needs to be taken to the corn fields.
Unreal.
I heard this morning that the Superintendent of this district also served. I am guessing they are going to have some job openings at that school.
What is the school supers email?
Remember when right after 9-11 there was a ground swell of patriotism? Men and women joined the military to protect the country and if you were in uniform you were treated like a hero.
Now it almost feels like the era right after Vietnam. And I think its because people like this take their cues from the POS in the White Hut.
It wasn’t the school that caused the problem, it was the school guard. The school made it clear that there was not such policy and that the guard was acting either on incorrect information or personal bias.
All federal money going to this school, and the entire school district, should be stopped immediately.
The school superintendent immediately corrected the situation. Don’t know the status of the mall cop
Well... that is what we have became as a Nation. Or I should say, sank to as a Nation. It embarrasses the hell out of me and makes me thankful that I am long in the tooth and won’t be around much longer at the most. And I spend most of my time reminiscing about when ,as a Nation, we were proud of and respected our Servicemen and women. But it is what it is. If the people did not want it, it would not happen.
+1
The school probably has a Facebook page where you can tell them how you feel.
I hope they embarrass the hell out of the school for allowing this to happen.

You can’t embarass or reason with liberals; they believe they’re always right. You simply have to stand up to them. Better yet, run over them.
This is what happens when you turn your school system over to liberals. It is no longer a school, it is an indoctrination factory for leftist ideology which includes a hatred of the military and those who serve in it.
I don’t buy that story. The school is trying to cover its tracks. No way some low level security guard is going to make that call on his own. He was instructed to take that position by someone in the hierarchy and we haven’t heard the whole story yet. The public school system if full of anti-military wing nuts.
Where in the Constitution does it say folks have the right to not be offended????
Most of our parents here fought wars to protect us and to promote freedom and then along come these petty martinets who given a miniscule amount of power, use it at every turn.
He’s a low level rent a cop. Making minimum wage. He made the wrong call and the superintendent reversed him.
