Oh Absolutely!
Dad used to take me to the D’Oyly Carte opera whenever they came to Boston, The Boston Symphony, The Pops (with Arthur Fiedler!), and all the Russian Choruses, especially the Don Cossacks (some very old guys who could still sing!)
He got me into photography and Audio recording. I used to work in the darkroom with him when he shot a wedding with an old Speed graphic Camera with the huge negatives.
And I got my first tape recorder when I was 10.
Sept 6th was the third anniversary of his passing.
God rest his soul...but he’s not dead in your heart and memories, ML! (((hugs)))
