House GOP Setting the Stage for Massive Crony Capitalist Pay Backs (Why bother with the GOP?)

House GOP Setting the Stage for Massive Crony Capitalist Pay Backs in a Lame Duck

House Republicans are preparing a continuing resolution to keep the government open. In doing so, they’ve decided to be total sluts for K Street and Wall Street. The Crony Capitalists, emboldened by the Chamber of Commerce’s help during primary season, are doing some very unusual things.

Here’s what I hear is happening.

First, they will reauthorize the Ex-Im bank, which is something K Street is desperate to see happen.

Second, current reports are that they will spend more than the original Paul Ryan — Patti Murray deal that had included a tax hike. However, that is subject to change.

Third, and probably most significantly, they will make sure the continuing resolution expires after the election, but before January. That will free them up to go back for a lame duck session where outgoing members can use their votes to pass amnesty, tax increases, and further extend the Ex-Im bank.

Essentially, just as the Democrats used retiring members of Congress to pass Obamacare since they no longer had to worry about being accountable to voters, Republicans are going to use their members on the other side of an election and no longer accountable to voters to increase federal spending, collaborate on amnesty, and prepare a grab bag of pork fill requests for K Street.

Get ready. It’s coming.

The House Leadership is on a razor’s edge. It’s safe to say now that Boehner will not return without meaningful concessions to conservatives. Depending on a very few race results he may not return at all.
These types of bills, I note, are just business as usual in the Boehner years and it is undeniably good news that he has doubts he could force the next House to go along.
Which is how I see it.

Tell you what; let us elect a Republican Senate just to piss off and retire Dingy Harry!

That in and of itself would make life far more interesting and, politics far more entertaining!

I hardly think Mitch and a Republican Senate would bother to kiss Ophonybama’s ass as much as Dingy Harry and the LIEberals have done in the last 6 years!

And, while we are at it, let us elect more conservatives to the House of Representatives and retire John Boehner. A conservative Speaker would piss off a lot of people, and that too, would be interesting and entertaining!

I am damn sick and tired of these FRicking circular firing squads! We sound like a bunch of kindergarten kids in the sand box fighting over the red fire truck!

Why don’t we work together to win the FRicking election and then beat up on Republicans and force them to our will?

I can tell you that it is a lot easier to beat up on Republicans and force them to our will than it is to beat up on LIEberal Democrats (and trust me: every damn one of the Democrats is a LIEberal!) and force them to our will!

Now, quitcherbitching and get to work electing as many conservatives and Republicans (where there is no conservative you can vote for!) as you can!

And, while you are at it, trash EVERY Democrat!

They will win if we get out the vote and if we GET OUT AND VOTE!

Just vote AGAINST Democrats!

That is all you have to do!

Or some people enjoy getting rained on and dumped on.
It is how they get their kicks. Really excites them.
The more they are rained and dumped on, the more excited they get.

Daily we watch democrats scramble desperately to make sure that republicans can never win again let alone conservatives. A man would have to be really stupid to want to keep democrats in power out of some fantasy that it will lead to a conservative resurgence.

If we give the democrats another 2 to 6 years they’ll completely and totally erase our borders permanently. They’ll be shutting down all conservative talk (Including FR). They’re trying to seize federal control of all police departments in the country. They want to strip funding from charter schools and dump it into their public marxism factories and would do the same to private schools the first chance they get. They clearly want to see Israel destroyed and the birth of a caliphate stretching from Indonesia to west Africa. They would happily force abortions on conservatives, strip of us our children for “corrective” education at the hands of a transsexual pedophile. I could go on but all one needs to do is pay attention to what the democrats say.

They are close to creating the utopian world of William Ayers and if its not stopped here our days will be numbered.

I do find the arguments over RINO Senators baseless- just get a R majority.

But in the House it’s just a matter of a few Members to get a conservative Leadership and get things done.
That’s where the “vote R- vote only conservative” arguments would be to the point. We can lose a very few RINO Members and help our cause.
In the Senate it’s different,: we’re not on the edge of a conservative Senate in anyone’s wildest fantasy.

Agreed but there are some powerful conservative voices there who can make a difference in a GOP controlled senate. Also there are those conservative house members who can move to the senate in the future. Can you say Senator Gowdy?

We did win the election in the house two years ago.
The GOP has a majority NOW.
Yet they want to reward K-Street during the lame duck session
by hiding nice treats into the CR Bill?
And you cannot understand why many conservatives are outraged by this?

We’ve got enough conservative Senators now for a conservative House Leadership to have reasonably smooth sailing with a R majority in the Senate.

We need only a very few more conservatives, or less RINOs. to get that House Leadership.

Yup. We can get conservative legislation to a GOP senate. We won’t get everything we want but we’ll get a heck of a lot more than we’re getting now. Just today Mike Lee pointed to some 340 pieces of legislation passed in the house that Harry Reid won’t allow to come to the senate floor.

“Strategery” is important.

That is because the DC Hacks feared Reagan because of his ability
to communicate directly to Americans.

Today’s GOP only communicates weakness, not fear.

I’ll take my chances and deal with republicans

Ain't gonna work because those Republicans will be just as liberal when screaming headlines from the NYT attacks them for merely cutting a nickel out of some children's program.

Let us not forget that nasty gang, the Gang of 14. They only seem to raise
their ugly heads when the GOP has a senate majority. Their purpose : throw a monkey wrench in anything conservative. And I predict if the GOP
does take the senate, the 14 gangsters will raise their ugly heads again.
And clog up any conservative bills.

Government welfare spending subsidizes consumer spending and 5 to 10 per cent of consumer spending goes into the media’s pockets in the form of advertising.

The media are salesmen who get their commission from government spending. People need to learn this before there’ll be any change.

I don’t much care about that, my FRiend!

What I care about is sending the Democrats packing!

Our mantra ought to be: RETIRE DEMOCRATS IN 2014!

“After all, it was our own so-called ‘leader’ who vowed to ‘Crush us” wherever he found us in the effort to make sure Conservatives did not have a single candidate in the General Election.”

It’s JMHO but I think if the GOP takes the senate and Mitch becomes ML it will effectively kill the TEA Party.

Mitch openly declared war and if he’s elected leader the Rinos will circle the wagons and senators like Ted Cruz will be in for some payback.

Precisely!

What I care about, and what our focus MUST BE IN 2014 is to send the Democrats packing!

Our mantra ought to be: RETIRE EVERY DEMOCRAT IN 2014!

I absolutely think they will try their hardest. I honestly believe the GOP hates conservatives more than Democrats.

Democrats are forcing Republicans to move to the Left and defend liberal policies. Already you have Tom Cotton accepting the premise of the minimum-wage debate, which will only discourage the base and the LIV will vote for the Dem anyway. The Republicans are not going to win because they are not offering any bold choices in policy like they did 20 years ago.

At least a few of us understand that truth.

The Party Hacks who will threaten and castigate you if you do not vote for someone with an 'R' after their name…. not so much.

It's just a political game to them. Just a bunch of X's and O's on a whiteboard.

They have no clue what we have already been transformed into.
