(CNN) -- Janay Rice, wife of suspended NFL player Ray Rice who was released by the Baltimore Ravens, apparently posted a statement Tuesday on Instagram calling the situation a "nightmare." "To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his ass off for all his life just to gain ratings is a horrific (sic)," she wrote. The actions against Ray Rice were taken Monday after a video surfaced showing him knocking her out with a punch in February. The Instagram post, reported by various media, appeared to be authentic.

What ratings boost is she talking about...the MSM? The NFL certainly has no problem with ratings.
And with a love like that....you know you should be glad
she loves cold cash
More liberal unintended consequences
.
She should just tell everyone they were just goofing around, play-acting, role playing or something.
He knocked the sense out of her head.
She took one for the team.
But yeah... FOX needs to LET IT GO....
How horrific! No more furs, jewelry, expensive cars, invitations to important parties, etc, etc.
Janay just saw her lifestyle cut and her money cut,,,,those two people deserve each other.
Yep, I bet losing out on the rich, luxury life hurts more than that punch did.
This whole incident reminds me of how the Obama administration treats the American people and how the American people react to the treatment they receive.
Sounds like she got punched hard in the purse.
You mean that $15 per hour at McDonalds might come into play at some point?
We be in denial.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
I despise the Ravens BUT didn’t we already know that he knocked the hell out of her and the NFL responded, along with the Ravens, a month ago? Whether or not you believe the punishment then was too much or too little, I think it’s ridiculous to pile on at this point just because you SAW what you already knew. Its all about the NFL/Ravens saving face. In no way, shape or form do I condone what Rice did, its horrific; the act is the same now as it was a month ago.
I think she’s talking about the media in general..probably ESPN specifically. She’s essentially saying everyone is playing the video, hyping it up to boost viewership/internet views, etc - while she, the victim, has to relive it over and over. She also referred to being isolated now because it’s the world vs her husband.
Interesting move on her/their part. It is easy to paint her as having battered wife syndrome and standing by her man regardless, but it’s possible they dealt with this very bad situation which could well be a very bad isolated event and were working to move on. He also could be a serial abuser. I have not info either way, but I am so tired of the mob rule in our country automatically painting a guy like this as something with no further evidence. This video was dramatically a worst case scenario in terms of what he did in that elevator, but we know nothing about his conduct before this event or why it got to that point.
Yep...do you think she would sing a different tune if RR worked at a $15/hour job at Mickie D’s?
