i work in the football business though i won’t say what capacity...this story broke during the NFL combine when i was in Indianapolis for the event with coaches, GM’s, and execs from around the league...when the story broke one team exec said to a very small group i was with(exact quote) “we saw the video and its pretty bad”...

i am not going to lie and say its the video that made the rounds today but whatever video was shown to league execs in February at the combine, it was very damning...

Goodell got caught lying about knowledge of the video and only after getting caught he did the indefinite suspension number.
He was going to let Rice skate until he got called out. The NFLPA doesn't allow for an indefinite suspension because Goodell already gave a 2 game suspension. He will try to use the NFLPA to justify for reinstatement but it won't fly with these battered women's groups.

The video of him dragging his fiance out of the elevator looked pretty bad.

If there was this additional video back then, why was it not released? If TMZ had the video back then, they certainly would have released it. There was no advantage to anybody who wanted to make money on this to wait until now to release the video.

Not to defend Goodell, (a guy I think is ruining football) but I think just the video of him exiting the elevator, and dragging his woman out of it is, and should be considered damning enough.
