How do you stop believing in the Conservative Movement if you don’t change your principles?

Or was it that your principles changed and therefore you quit believing in the Conservative Movement?

Depends on the movement, Could be the “Commercial Aspect” of the “Conservative Movement”

The endless hawking of books for the sake of hawking books, the endless whining but non-action that has become an industry of placation unto itself.

The Grass Roots of conservatism are like a lawn that has just had a “TARP” removed from on top of them after along spring, The grass is yellow and sickly looking at first but once it hits sunlight the green shall return in it in full force!

While some parts of the “Conservative Industry” are beneficial, some are not and determining what parts are which is a very vital next step.

The video explains it all. I believe in the principles, but not in the strategies. Do you not think that’s possible?

I watched the youtube video and I know what he’s talking about. You only had to pay attention to the GOPe fiasco in Mississippi to see his point.

He never said he stopped being a Conservative. He said he stopped believing in the “Movement”. Something like what happened in Mississippi this summer can cause one to do that.
