How would stripping citizenship keep them out of THIS country?
exactly?
The Obama administration is probably more interested in mailing them absentee ballots.
Anything is "legally possible" in the Age of Ubama.
How can they not have a position? That is unacceptable. In other words, they don’t want to publicly state a position for political purposes.
I can see how stripping a person of their citizenship is a policy that could be abused in the future...especially with this administration. I can hear the conversation with Valerie Jarrett now - Those Tea Party members are just like terrorists you now; hey lets strip them of their citizenship.
That said, preventing a potential terrorist from returning to the homeland is something to be entertained and measured.
Why bother?
When all this shit is over our government will call them refugees and import a few million give them free housing food and medical and a full ride to college.
Send them back to the Jihadists one piece at a time. We would be respectful of their religious practices.
again wh using ISIL to rip israel, instead of what the world uses, ISIS.
This is why Congress should declare war on ISIS, ISIL, IS or whatever they are calling themselves. That would make any American taking up arms with those groups guilty of treason so when they are captured, they can be tried, convicted, and executed.
Just let their new status be KIA! No transportation available
For terrorist traitor remains.
Wouldn’t strip them of citizenship but would charge them as traitors.
If the wording specifically addresses fighting for the enemies of the U.S., you would hope they wouldn’t bastardize the wording to allow those other things.
We both know how that works for Lefties though.
