Hard to see how this could be legally possible.

But as I mentioned to Jeff, the administration certainly is interested in working in a partnership with members of Congress, Democrats and Republicans, as we confront this threat. Laughs<<<
Retiring the blame Bush doctrine.
On tap, blaming Congress and Republicans more than he has been.

The a$$holes in charge know that these bastards have USA passports. Why aren’t they revoking the passports? Do they love the ROP that much that they are willing to let Americans die?

Someone placed some information on the forum concerning fighting in armed conflict against the United States.
It may be more doable than you think.
I would leave no stone unturned to rid ourselves of such ilk.

I would leave no stone unturned to rid ourselves of such ilk. Obama will leave no stone unturned -- looking for his ball in the rough!

OK, we don’t strip them of their citizenship.
Instead, we try each and every one of them for treason and execute the lot of them.

I am pretty sure these people couldn’t care one way or another about their US citizenship.

Agreed. Stripping them of their citizenship is a red herring. THAT is not the issue. REVOKING THEIR PASSPORTS IS DOABLE, however, and not the legal wrangling that revoking their citizenship is.

I don’t know , but I would be stopping travel to the Middle East for tourism right now. It won’t stop some desperate fanatics from going there from Europe or Africa, but it’s a step.

Why is the red herring of ending citizenship being brought up? Are these guys really that full of it?
To: SMARTY
They are putting out a red herring and an appeal to emotion. They are saying take away citizenship so that constitutional rights don’t apply. However, rights aren’t an issue , if they die in the line of fire, too bad. If they get caught trial for treason, and execute them once convicted.

I have no doubt that if it is doable for ISIS, it will be doable for anyone else the administration deems suitable.
