“The EU wants to ban haggis..”
Well, I bit; looked it up. Wikipedia starts out by stating “haggis is a savory pudding” and then goes on to describe its contents, how it’s made, etc. I’ve always been open minded about food and have tried the Aussie infamous veggie-mite, putrid Asian Duran, and various and sundry other “unique” foods. So, guess I should give haggis a try before I turn up my nose :)

The TV show, How It’s Made had a segment on haggis as made by a company named MacSween. The video is available on youtube. Worth a look if you are curious about haggis. They even make a microwaveable and vegetarian haggis.

I've had haggis twice...each time indelibly stamped in my olfactory memory and taste buds..I'me fairly adventurous..like you..when it comes to food..but it's just not my cup of tea..but it's definitely something you should experience for yourself..especially if part of a special dining out experience..the presentation of the haggis is a big part of the whole experience..
BTW...I liked Vegemite. Duran's on my bucket list....is the smell/taste really as bad as they say? I've heard it compared to decomposing flesh...
