Not that I am defending the Pubbies, but what EXACTLY do you want them to do about it? They do not control the Justice Department, so even if they have solid evidence of a crime they could not prosecute.

Some of them are trying to hold hearings, but they can't really compel anyone to give them anything.

Depersonalize the income tax by going to a flat tax, or a value added tax. The IRS will be a bygone nightmare. No more targeting of tea partyers. Less favors for the rich. And once incentivised to find a real job, Lois Lerner might even get back her self esteem.
