EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In his 2010 State of the Union Address, President Obama famously chided the Supreme Court for its recent campaign finance decision by proclaiming, “With all due deference to the separation of powers, the Supreme Court reversed a century of law to open the floodgates for special interests including foreign corporations to spend without limit in our elections." In another speech he further lamented, “There aren’t a lot of functioning democracies around the world that work this way where you can basically have millionaires and billionaires bankrolling whoever they want, however they want, in some cases undisclosed. What it means is ordinary Americans are shut out of the process.”

These statements are remarkable for their blatant hypocrisy and obfuscation of the fact that the President and his cadre of wealthy liberal allies and donors embrace the very tactics he publicaly scorned. In reality, an elite group of left wing millionaires and billionaires, which this report refers to as the “Billionaire’s Club,” who directs and controls the far left environmental movement, which in turn controls major policy decisions and lobbies on behalf of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Even more unsettling, a dominant organization in this movement is Sea Change Foundation, a private California foundation which relies on funding from a foreign company with undisclosed donors. In turn, Sea Change funnels tens of millions of dollars to other large but discreet foundations and prominent environmental activists who strive to control both policy and politics.

And when you throw in all those Non-Governmental (Non Profit snicker/snicker) Organizations (especially the TRUSTS like the Kennedys & Rockefellers) and those who advertise on NPR/PBS you really are talking some money.

That is really funny (strange) because Nixon would not agree to Bail Out Penn Central after their merger and a stretch of bad winter weather. They went bankrupt and we have CXS and Amtrak as a result.

To the Congress of the United States:

As concern with the condition of our physical environment has intensified, it has become increasingly clear that we need to know more about the total environment-land, water and air. It also has become increasingly clear that only by reorganizing our Federal efforts can we develop that knowledge, and effectively ensure the protection, development and enhancement of the total environment itself.

The Government's environmentally related activities have grown up piecemeal over the years. The time has come to organize them rationally and systematically. As a major step in this direction, I am transmitting today two reorganization plans: one to establish an Environmental Protection Agency, and one to establish, within the Department of Commerce, a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Our national government today is not structured to make a coordinated attack on the pollutants which debase the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land that grows our food. Indeed, the present governmental structure for dealing with environmental pollution often defies effective and concerted action.

Nixon’s aides Ehrlichman and Haldeman were with Nixon vacationing in the San Juan Islands (Washington State), while enjoying the view from the boat, the three thought how beautiful the area was and how it could be protected. The idea of creating a Federal agency to protect the environment ensued.

The EPA was a Nixon Admin idea that was put to Congress and everyone jumped on board. Congress wrote it up (aka created it) and Nixon duly signed it.
