The aim of government is to manage problems, not solve them. If they solved them they would eliminate their own raison d’etre. If a problem is inadvertently solved, government will cast about to find, or if necessary create a new problem to justify their continued existence. It is far better for government to manage and cultivate a problem with just enough marginal efficacy to prolong its, and by extension, it’s own existence.

As long as the beheadings are kept under 250/year and the mass executions under 5000/year it will be very manageable. To Obama people being killed by the tens of thousands is irrelevant. I estimate at least 250,000 people have been slaughtered as a result of his policies. No big deal. Wonder why he made such a stink about Michael Brown? What is one more dead guy?
