NZ is a minor basketball nation, the US is primo. NZ for example would murder the US at rugby, where the haka is most famous.

The result dosent matter, its a proud part of their culture.

We Scots still play the bagpipes at soccer and rugby matches, even if we are getting beaten. (actually our teams in both sports are pretty good at the moment).

Maybe in rugby, but soccer not so much. How did the Champions League go this year. Even Scotsman Craig Burley agrees that Scottish football is the pits at present.

The University of Hawaii does a similar gig before their football, err, gridiron games and regularly get their fannies handed to them on the field. I’d do my strutting after the game if I was them. And weren’t there some white guys on the team doing the Haka. Is that part of their heritage too?
