From the link in this article, it seems that in AZ rape victims don’t have to pay child support to somebody convicted of rape. Maybe he’d still have to pay child support to the daughter. But he could report the rape, take a paternity test which would prove it was statutory rape, get the mom convicted, and get full custody of the daughter with no child support needed since he’s the custodial parent.

Sounds good to me, but the “get the mom convicted” part might not be possible if the statute of limitations has expired. I don’t know AZ law.

since he’s the custodial parent.

And then HE gets to file for child support.
