Putin is taking all he can before he has to face a Republican Congress in 2015 and a new President—a GOP—President on 1-20-2017. Looks like he has his “Greater Russia” (with German Blessings)—now he needs to patch things up with the US and EU. They will have their hands full with IS attacks and a Conservative swing.
