Full Title: Nude Photos Of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Ariana Grande Leak In Massive iCloud Hack
Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, and Kate Upton were among a handful of celebrities whose nude photos were leaked late Sunday afternoon following what appears to be a large-scale hack.
The photos first appeared on a 4Chan thread (very NSFW). So far, only Lawrences publicist Bryna Rifkin has confirmed, in an official statement to Buzzfeed, that the photos were of her client...
...The leaked photos were apparently obtained via a massive hack of Apples iCloud. They were then posted on 4chan by users offering more explicit material in exchange for bitcoin payments.

Of course it’s not ok.
But if I leave my tv sitting on the curb..and some yahoo steals it, I have some responsibility. The days of honor are gone. There never has been honor on the internet.
Why in the devil anyone wants to take naked pics of themselves and post them on the internet evades me. I guess I have officially become a geezer.

Jennifer Lawrence -- Alleged Nude Photos Leak
Photos purporting to show a nude Jennifer Lawrence are making their way around on the Internet as part of what appears to be a massive celebrity hacking campaign.
The photos claiming to be of Lawrence were taken in various locations -- some of them appear to be taken in a dressing room, while others are more intimate. Some of the photos show the woman who is allegedly Lawrence taking the photos herself, while others appear to be taken by someone else.
A few of the photos show what appears to be Lawrence in various bathing suits ... but others are fully nude.
There are a ton of other partially nude photos of celebrities posted today ... the alleged victims include Kate Upton, Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst, Hope Solo, Krysten Ritter, Yvonne Strahovski, and Teresa Palmer.
Lawrence's spokespeople tell TMZ, "This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."
We're reaching out to the reps for the women involved. So far, no word back ...
Story developing ...
Update 3:25 PM PT -- Victoria Justice denied the photos going around claiming to be her are authentic, writing on Twitter, "These so called nudes of me are FAKE people. Let me nip this in the bud right now. *pun intended*"
Mary Elizabeth Winstead, also part of the leak, confirmed the photos of her were real, writing, "Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked. To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves."

So if someone hacks into the computer you’re using now then its your fault.
Just as if someone breaks into your home or office.
Its no different.

Hacker will go to jail, how about those would look at pics?
Any legal worries there?
To: Linda Frances
If you turn off iCloud how will that affect normal use? Depends on what regular use is. You can go into your settings and selectively block what you don't want going to the cloud. For myself, I never allow pictures to automatically go to iCloud. I selectively pick pictures and use sharing to stream them to relatives and friends. The public can't access them, and the pics are harmless if seen.
If you turn off iCloud then you're losing the ability to access your other data from multiple sources. Pick your poison. You can use your own encryption for data prior to it going to iCloud, then no one but who you choose to have your encryption password can access the content. As others mentioned, invest in NAS storage. I have two hard drives connected to my router so all my computers can share content, as well as do backups to them. Critical files are encrypted and protected. Periodically swap hard drives by cloning them and storing in a safe location, as protection in case your NAS disappears.

Hackers will go to jail. Any website that posts them will probably see legal action. People who download? I kind doubt it but I’m not a lawyer. First of all the number of people who have downloaded is probably pretty high.

It is somewhat different.
There is a certain amount of responsibility involved.
If I do things on the internet that expose me to danger or don’t lock my doors and put a “come on in” sign in the yard...I need to have a reality check about the internet or locked doors.
