There was much speculation about who allegedly did this. It turns out, the man charged is Galloway’s fellow white Briton, a man called Neil Masterson. He is described as a “devout Catholic, UKIP supporter, likes Jews, Muslims not so much ...” Some people have said that Masterson has a connection to Northern Ireland, if so, that would naturally make him a hothead.
