#63 – Los Bravos: “Black is Black”

This band was an amalgam of two Spanish bands with a German lead singer that recorded in London. Mike Kogel had a voice that could easily be mistaken for Gene Pitney. Kogel would change his last name to Kennedy and go solo in 1972 with only one hit, “Louisiana”, to his credit.
