I went to Boston in 1961 with my parents - my Father was attending a meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine. We had the time to see a lot of sights, including, of course, the USS Constitution. Somewhere in the archives there's a photo of me as a 13 year old leaning out over one of the cannons on the gun deck of Old Ironsides as though sighting the cannon for fire.
The only other things I recall about that visit were a dinner at Durgan Park, a trip to Hugo's in Cohasset Harbor, and a visit to a rock-ribbed beach in New Hampshire.
America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!
O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
