“ok, what now is issa lacking..”

The ability to conduct a linear thread of targeted questioning that causes both questioner and questionee to arrive at a singularity, an inescapable conclusion, a certainty that indicts the questionee. He is not an attorney, in fact, he has rather a blue collar background. For which I do not criticize nor fault him but he is a TERRIBLE questioner. Litigation-level questioning is a high-level skill and VERY few attorneys actually have it. Gowdy has it. The trouble with Issa pretending to be a lawyer is that he unfailingly produces bifurcation-—forks in the road—that lead to equivocal outcomes. This is one major reason why nothing has happened. It is because Issa is caught up in his own ego. He is not smart enough to know that he is being outsmarted by the other side in order to specifically produce this bifurcation. Let there be no doubt, the other side has $1K/hour attorneys. That we are undoubtedly paying for, by the way.
