Scandal: Talk of crashed and recycled hard drives, like that Benghazi video, was a distraction from the truth, which is that the missing emails detailing IRS perfidy exist on a system intended for government wide catastrophe.
It would make sense that such a system would exist in the event that, say, the Islamic State or some other terrorist entity managed a nuclear attack on Washington D.C.

Yeh me too. I’ll really believe it when I see LL going to the slam.
Is that anything like "was a filthy, despicable, impeachable Maoist lie"?
He will...and Obama will be seeking early retirement due to health or family reasons before the Articles of Impeachment can be drawn up.
If it wasn’t for Issa we wouldn’t know about any of this.
Not to worry, eventually the lies catch up with them.
That is a great graphic and a keeper.
First Lerner, then Holder, then Obama. That will be the order of the progression.
So... who’s going to jail for this???
yeah.. didn’t think so...
If it were me or you, fellow Freeper.. We’d be put away for years and fined to oblivion.
We CANNOT stand for this crap any more and survive as a Nation.
What pisses me off is that it has to take Judicial Watch to get to the bottom of things.
Congress is completely USELESS.
Bingo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What I posted on 6/21/14... Now this...
What I dont get is that email only a small portion of a typical management job. There had to be word docs, spreadsheets, proposals, written policies, presentations, job reviews, resumes, etc.. etc... We are expected to believe that you lose a hard drive you lose everything? Utter bull.
If all her documentation was backed upped on a file server, so was her .pst file. No IT person is stupid enough to backup everything but email (even if this seems a little redundant because they were using a mail server). You can never have enough backup.
The claim is that at the time emails were stored on a backup tape only for three months. And that tape was destroyed after 90 days.
O.K. even if true (as stupid as this sounds), why didnt they immediately recover her emails from backup when the hard drive was replaced? It was replaced the same day of the crash.
Why even attempt to recover the files off of the hard drive? They had an intact backup at the time the crash. Every single email was on a backup tape at the time. Their explanation makes absolutely no sense. The sad part is we are too stupid to ask the right questions.
That is an awfully big "if" The rats might threaten him if he does. They don't care about laws, why would they care about that? I heard someone say, and I agree, we can not deal legally with a lawless president, because he doesn't care about the laws. I just wonder how this lawlessness will be dealt with.
You’re correct, it’s a huge “if” and in truth I don’t believe this judge will blow it open but he has shown some backbone.
0bama controls the DOJ because of the joke of an AG he picked and sadly he has some support from the judges plus little opposition from the GOP.
There are many that are fed up with the lawlessness of this administration.
But it’s “too hard” to actually use backup tapes, they are procedural, really. Keep’s the director’s nephew employed during the summer months.... < /sarc >
IRS LAWLESSNESS PING
The government lied and lied and lied and lied and lied and lied about the emails. Gee whiz, wonder what else they lied about.
This is true, but I still have not heard anyone say how we can deal with it. I don't know how we can deal with it either. I just wish someone would come up with something.
Wow! Thanks for posting this.
ok, what now is issa lacking to immediately throw a number of irs people into congressional jail?
