He keeps saying no to third run for the White House, but another new poll this time in Iowa indicates Mitt Romney would be the front runner for the Republican presidential nomination if he changes his mind.
A USA Today/Suffolk University survey of Iowa voters released Wednesday should add to the feeding frenzy over a possible 2016 presidential bid by the 2012 GOP nominee. While the former Massachusetts governor's repeatedly said he's not running again, the attention such speculation captures is a sign of the wide open nature right now of the upcoming Republican nomination race.

Don’t forget Candy Crowley throwing the debate.
Doesn’t matter which liberal would be better or worse. They both support abortion, amnesty, gun control, socialized medicine and bigger government.
I will vote for a conservative. I don’t expect the republicans to run one.

You don't get to vote "against," sorry. You only get to vote for.
That is why the Republican party keeps turning left, even though all this time we've been voting "against" leftism because when we voted for our leftist Republican, we were voting "against" the more leftist Democrat opponent.
The only thing that counts is what you vote FOR. If you want to vote for the Republican's Mickey Mouse versus the Democrat's Goofy, you go right ahead.
I'll vote based on what a candidate will do if he wins.
You'll vote based on what you fear will happen if he loses.
None of which matters, because the Democrats now own the Electoral College. Are Virginia and Florida really still "swing states" in Presidential election years? (and coming soon - "adios Tejas")
May have means he was unelectable. The same conservatives that didn’t vote for him before won’t vote for him again. Including me.
I’ll vote for a conservative.

Romney is Rep LITE
Dodo.
Stop. It.
(Not you, the media)
Mitt ran. He lost.
The media starts pushing the candidate they prefer long before the election. McCain was media’s darling until he got the nomination.
Then they dumped on him like a bear in the woods.
It sounds to me as if they are pushing Mitt because they are afraid other nominees may be a Reagan-like conservative who can & will win in a landslide. IOW, a Conservative with a clear mandate.
Hillary will be the next President if the GOP don’t get their act together real soon.
Would it be rude to point out that Rick Santorum actually won Iowa last time around? Sure it was close. Sure, only a small fraction of the GOP participates in the overhyped Iowa caucuses. Sure, it looked like Mitt was winning at the end of the evening when the news cycle ended. But the actual result is that Santorum won by a razor-thin 34 votes even if no delegates were allocated at the time.
Well, Reagan tried over and over until he made it. Who knows?
The media ran with a Romney win, too.

I’d say it’s name recognition, pure and simple. I do think there’s a bit of remorse because it’s obvious now that Obama was wrong and Romney right in the last cycle, but this is the Republican primary, and it has more to do with ID. Most of our likely candidates are not household names....Walker, Pence, Cruz, etc.
I’ll vote based on what a candidate will do if he wins.
You’ll vote based on what you fear will happen if he loses
The exact same game was played with McCain in 2008.
I don't know if the Iowa reporting was a conspiracy, wishful thinking, or just a desire to get the info on the news cycle. Santorum's margin of victory came almost entirely from northwest Iowa, which is the most rural and least exciting part of the state for national news crews to sip their lattes and find cathouses to relax when their day's work is done.
4.4 percent margin for error
What a joke. +- 50% is closer to the truth.
And this small fraction doesn’t select the candidate. They don’t even select the delegates to the convention. The caucuses in Iowa are literally meaningless.
From listening to the talking bobbleheads, including “Republicans”, on the boob toob, it appears as though Slick Willie’s old lady is invincible and running against her in 2016 is just a waste of time. That shows you just how far into the sewer America has floated.
If you had voted for a real conservative instead of the liberal (R), perhaps you wouldn't regret your vote for the liberal now.

You acted to vote for the Republican party to surrender to leftism.
Accept responsibility for what you voted FOR. Intentions don't mean squat, pal. As the state of the Republican party today PROVES.
Jabber all you want about what you intended to vote "against." The only thing you did was to vote FOR an American who supports the concept of government-run health insurance. You voted FOR an American who supports the idea of punishing individuals and companies for exercising their right to peacefully discriminate against open homosexuality, whether they are adoption agencies, the military, schools, or the Boy Scouts. You voted FOR an American who supports the environmentalist agenda. You voted FOR an American who supports on-demand abortion and a pregnant minor's "right" to have a judge to override her parents' authority if they forbid her to have an abortion.
Be responsible for what you voted FOR. You believe in the tooth fairy if you think you voted "against" a frikkin' thing.
