In Arab-Israeli wars, never assume that he who has a bigger army is the one actually winning the real war. There is no question that Israel has the bigger army in this war, but Hamas is winning.

In close to two months of “calibrated” fighting, Israel is still helpless to stop Hamas from firing rockets, ceasefire or not.

As for the Gaza PR war, the prime minister is too busy fighting with his ministers to realize Hamas has already won the world over by piling up bodies of dead Palestinian Arab children.

I actually wonder if Israel is holding back until the day some enemy attacks them with WMD.

They may feel that that is the only thing that would grant them license in the world’s eyes to decimate their enemies once and for all.

If that is not the plan then Israel is simply the most long suffering and peaceful nation that has ever existed on the Earth.

Israel always needs a “provocation” before the world lets her hit back so yes, they are waiting for WMD or if a school gets hit on opening day, next week.

Israel could have brought Gaza to it's knees in the first day but that would have required the death of 2,000 Gazans in one day, nor after 50.

Given the sheer quantity of ordnance dropped on Gaza, 200,000 should have been killed, not 2,000. So, if/when Israel MUST win, they will.

i don’t know why the muslims are mad about this.

their “god” allah is author of good and evil, everything happens because of his direct willing it to happen. that means if they die horribly by their enemies, allah wants them to die that way.

second they die for the cause of allah, so they’re going to paradise, but only if allah favors them. it’s almost assured they get into paradise, butif allah doesn’t like you, you’re not geting in. and you don’t know ahead of time if allah likes you or not.

third, many muslim clerics have said they don’t care how many muslims die if they can take down israel. they don’t care if a billion muslims die if they succeed. why are they crying, they’ve hardly gotten remotely close to losing a billion muslims.

The world and UN must lie to itself about the realities of the Arab-Israeli conflict. They keep it going instead of letting Israel defeat her enemies.

Note that since the Oslo Peace Accords (1993), the terminology has changed. Everyone calls each war the "HAMAS-Israeli" War, the "Hizbollah-Israeli" War, the "PLO-Israeli" War, etc. This helps perpetuate the wars. The truth is, is that we still have the Arab-Israeli War going on. Many Arab states still consider themselves at war with Israel even though she signed Peace agreements and withdrew from territories time and time again.
The terminology game is important just as the Arab uses of the words, “Free Palestine”, “Genocide”, “Atrocities”, “Rights’ and the newest, “Apartheid” Arab terms used to defame Israel.
The time is long overdue that the world take notice that Israel is the only Western, stable, Democratic, free, Liberal, Capitalist, free-Market, innovative, hi-tech country in the Middle East. All the other 21 or so Arab nations are busy killing each other or plucking sand flies out of their rear-ends while saying “Allah Akbar”.

Now that ISIS is on the march, some people are beginning to wake up. HAMAS is ISIS which is Islamic Jihad which is Salafists, which is (secular) FATAH which is PLO(PA) which is Hizbollah which is the Muslim Brotherhood and a myriad of so many other TERROR organizations.

Wake up people, fight these SOBs and SUPPORT Israel, she, is us and we are her!

I wish more could be done to stop the short-range mortars. They are the main worry for the Kibbutzim near Gaza. A large mortar shell can really ruin your day.
